Concerned about catching coronavirus? Boost your immune system with these practices

I’m not offering medical advice–just a practical suggestion that you can start doing right now if you are concerned about getting sick from coronavirus or anything else. Most of these practices are totally free!

General Immune System Suggestions including Cold Therapy

I’ve been doing Wim Hoff breathing, and cold showers for the past 3 months. I’m addicted! I highly recommend learning these practices. If you only read one article I have posted, read this one. 

Plant Based Diet

This article discusses why a whole-food, oil-free plant based diet boosts the immune system. Here is a video about the same topic.

Laughter 

Even the Webmd website recommends laugher for boosting immune system! Look here.

According to one study, just one hour a day of singing helps boost the immune system. Here is an article that talks about ALL the benefits of singing.

Sleep

I know–you don’t have enough time to get enough sleep. But do you have time to get sick? This article  shows how important sleep is to enhance your immune system.

Here are some tips to get a good night’s sleep.

If I am having a hard time sleeping, I like listening to meditations. My preference is this station, because the affirmations are in alignment with my Christian beliefs. I encourage you to find mediations that suit your spiritual path.

Reflexology

Lots of times I might be in a meeting and feeling a bit restless. I am learning more about how to discreetly press my pressure points so I can feel as if I am being useful. Thisarticle has great tips for points to boost immune system. They all help other aspects of our health, too, like decreasing depression.
